Packaging do's
We love receiving sets built and complete — it helps us check them over quickly and get your payment to you faster. Only break a set down if it's genuinely too large to box safely.
If a build won't fit a box safely, separate it into a few large sections rather than taking it fully apart into loose bricks. Keep sections intact so they're easy to reassemble and check.
Before sending, give your sets a once-over so they match the condition you selected. It's worth confirming the set numbers too, so you're posting the right ones.
Pick a box that fits your sets snugly. Too small and the box can split; too large and the contents rattle around. A sturdy box that's close to the size of your sets is ideal.
Fill any gaps so nothing shifts in transit. Bubble wrap, scrunched newspaper, packing paper or foam all work well to cushion your sets against bumps.
Pack each set in its own bag or box so pieces don't get mixed between sets. A sealed plastic bag inside the outer box also stops any loose parts escaping.
If you don't have the original box, pop a note with the set number in with each set so we can match it up easily.
If you're reusing a box, peel off or cover any old shipping labels and stickers — leftover labels can confuse the courier and send your parcel to the wrong place.
Use a strong, undamaged box and tape all seams firmly. Make sure there are no gaps where the box could open in transit.
Once you've accepted your offer we send a free prepaid label. Stick it on flat and make sure no tape covers the barcode.
Please send your parcel within 7 days of accepting your offer, so we can review it and get your payment out promptly.
Packaging don'ts
A worn, thin or previously crushed box is far more likely to fail in transit. Start with a box that's in good shape and properly sealed.
Please don't break sets down into loose bricks. Send them built, or in a few large sections if they're too big to box whole.
"Fragile" or "handle with care" labels don't guarantee gentle handling. Good padding and a sturdy box protect your sets far better.
An under-filled box can collapse and an over-stuffed one can burst. Aim for a snug fit with padding filling the gaps.
Always remove every previous label and sticker before reusing packaging, or your parcel could be misrouted.
