How to Sell a Bag of LEGO Minifigures in the UK

Almost every LEGO household ends up with a bag of loose minifigures. Before you sell them as one lot, it's worth ten minutes of sorting — because one or two figures in that bag could be worth more than all the rest put together.

1. Separate the figures from the bricks

Pull every figure out of the loose bricks. Minifigures are valued individually, while loose bricks are usually sold by weight, so mixing them together means the figures get priced like plain plastic.

2. Put each figure back together

Match heads, torsos and legs back into complete figures where you can, and find any printed hair, helmets or capes that belong to them. A complete figure with its original parts is worth more than three separate pieces.

3. Pull out the likely stars

Set aside anything licensed — Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel, DC, Lord of the Rings — plus Collectible Minifigures and anything that looks unusual, like chrome, glow-in-the-dark or metallic figures. These are the ones to look up first. Our most valuable minifigures list shows what the top end looks like.

4. Get prices without listing anything

Look each figure up on our Sell Minifigures page by item number or photo and add them all to one basket. Every figure is priced on its own recent BrickLink sales, so the rare ones aren't lost in a job-lot price. Minifigures and sets can go in the same basket, and postage is free when your offer is over £10.

Too many to look up?

If you've got a tub rather than a handful, lay them out, take a few clear photos and email them to hello@brickbuy.co.uk. We'll identify the figures and value the lot for you, with no obligation to sell.
