What counts as a modular building
These are the detailed, multi-storey "street corner" sets — shops, cafes, townhouses — designed to connect side by side into a larger display. They're part of the wider LEGO Icons range, alongside other large adult-aimed builds like landmark models and botanical sets.
Why this range holds value so well
- Limited production windows. Each modular building is typically sold for a couple of years before retiring for good, which caps how many are ever made.
- A dedicated adult fanbase. These are bought by collectors who display and look after them, keeping second-hand condition high and demand steady.
