Selling Old LEGO Creator & Creator Expert: What It's Worth

LEGO Creator covers two quite different things โ€” the everyday 3-in-1 sets kids get as gifts, and the much bigger, pricier Creator Expert (now Icons) builds aimed at adults. Knowing which you've got matters, because the value gap is large.

The two sides of Creator

  • Creator 3-in-1 โ€” small, common sets (animals, vehicles, houses). Individually low value, usually sold by weight as part of your loose bricks.
  • Creator Expert / Icons โ€” large, detailed display models like modular buildings, big vehicles and landmark sets. These can be among the most valuable LEGO of all, especially sealed or retired.

What's worth the most

  • Modular buildings (the detailed townhouse/shop sets) โ€” highly sought after, especially retired ones.
  • Large Creator Expert vehicles and landmarks.
  • Sealed and retired Expert/Icons sets โ€” top value.

If you spot a big, detailed display set, flag it specifically โ€” it could be the standout of the whole collection.

Used and incomplete is fine

Loose 3-in-1 bricks go in by weight; large Expert sets are valued individually, complete or not. No boxes needed (though they add value to the big Expert sets).

How to sell it

  1. Separate the big Expert sets from the small 3-in-1s; weigh the loose bricks. Get a price for your Creator LEGO โ†’
  2. Wrap large built models to protect them.
  3. Send it free and get paid, usually next day.
