What counts as a collection

There’s no strict cutoff, but this route tends to make sense once you’re past 20 or so sets, or whenever a mixed lot would take longer to search and list individually than it’s worth. A childhood collection built up over years, a loft clear-out with sets from several eras, or a mix of sealed, built and loose LEGO all fit here.

If you’ve only got a handful of sets you can identify, it’s usually quicker (and can get you a more precise price) to search them individually instead.

Clearing a family collection

A good number of the collections we see come from clearing a parent’s or relative’s house — often not something anyone’s in a rush to deal with, and rarely something you’ll have a full inventory for. That’s completely fine. You don’t need to catalogue anything, know what’s valuable, or sort it before reaching out — just let us know roughly what’s there, at whatever pace suits you, and we’ll take it from there.
